Reusable Snack Bags Revisited

So I previously tried a reusable snack bag that was made from organic cotton & loved it. But then I kept seeing reusable kids snack bags that claimed to be "eco-friendly" all over the place & so had to try some out. I tested out bags from Bag it Conscious (above), Ecousac, Moja Creations, & Circus Peanuts, Sedilu Green. All use a cotton fabric outside with a BPA-free inside nylon liner. The pros: they're great, very hand, affordable, save on using plastic baggies for everything, they are waterproof, less waste, non-BPA nylon linings are not toxic, you can rinse them out & use them again & again. The cons: you are still using a petroleum biproduct (but you will use these many times & not use one-use only pertoleum biproducts), any offgasing which I only smelled at first & then after washing was not a problem, I would also not put anything hot in them. Overall, I love them & am converted to using these reusable baggies now. I especially like Moja Creations baggie, very cute & has a nice handle. Bag it Conscious also has some great designs.
